Can someone please give me an idea of when you take what with what? I just can't seem to get it together with those Vitamins. Not used to taking pills at all and keep forgetting. I appreciate the help. :)

Depends on what you are taking. I am on everything. I take B12 once a week so I take that on Sunday. Daily I take one Multivitamin, Biotin & a D3 in the morning. I then go workout. Around 10am I take my calacium citrate+D, in the afternoon around 2-3 ish I take another Calcium citrate+D and 40gms of omeprazole, after dinner I take another multi, D3, Biotin and Zyrtec-D.

I was already taking biotin, multi and Zyrtec-D pre-op. If you are forgeting try setting an alarm on your phone. My biggest fer is developing deficiencies so I'm fairly religious about taking my supplements.

Ahh, thank you! I am supposed to take 2 multi, 2 Calcium, a d and a B12. I know you aren't supposed to take certain ones with certain ones.....but even after researching, I am confused! WTH I am a reasonably intelligent person but seem to be having a hard time with all of these schedules, add eating and drinking into the mix and I am ready to have a meltdown!

If you are also supposed to take Iron you must separate them by 2 hours or they cancel each other out.

I take the same. I take the 2 multi, the d and the b12 in the morning. A calcium when I get home from work and a calcium about 3 hours later before bed.

Yes because there is a question on how much Vitamin absorption we are getting from food most doctors recommend higher doses. The bottle say once a day, but most docs say twice a day.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
