TV "Nutrisystem" meals any good?

Recommended Posts

to all of you jc/ns people--go to the web site NeverHungry.tsfl.com I have been on this program since January...the food is tasty/convenient/portioned/cheap and the purpose is to have balanced meals that are no brainers--one meal a day is on you own--lean and green meal...cooked veg/protien/salad. fits w/ our lapband especially after fills and on the road meals. you also do not have to stay on it forever--you wean to regular meals and use the food as supplements later on maintainence--large variety of foods/drinks..I just love it!! also a support group if you want/need it and medical support on an 800 #. Give it a look!! can't hurt!! money back guarantee in 30 days if you return unsed product NO QUESTIONS ASKED...I gave this to my internist-he is giving the program to people who are not mentally ready for lbs or who need to lose on a pre-op in rder to do the surgery. I got this program from my cousin(her website) both she and her husband lost the weight in about 2-3 months and have kept it off..Her husband is a geriatric specialist in Fla...take a look!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
