OK. So you all know how cold we get after this surgery, and I am no exception. In fact, last night I could not for the life of me, get warm. No amount of sweaters, p.j.s, socks...were going to do the job. I went to bed cold, but my fleecy sheets were great and got me all toasty warm. This morning I was all bundled in my bed when my puppies decided it was time to get up. I peeked my nose out of the covers, an arm soon followed. Then I thought to myself, "man, I can't still be cold, what's wrong with me, am I getting sick, or what?" I got out of bed and threw on a fleece top, heavy wool sweater, heavy pants, slippers that go up to my knees practically, and then donned mittens and threw a throw around me. "Gosh, I must really be getting sick. Seriously, it can't be this cold in here." I go to check the thermostat of the furnace, and it is blank. Oh No! Oh Yeah - it's not me!!! It's the furnace! Oh NO! I call the gas company and there isn't an outage. So what is wrong? is it me? Am I sick? I go to check the thermometer and it says 47degrees. Oh No, Oh Yeah!!!It's NOT me!!! It's the furnace! Oh NO!! What do I do? I call the furnace man, who tells me to check the batteries on the thermostat, turns out they were dead, and all I needed to do was install new ones. Note to self and anyone else...always check the furnace thermostat, it's not necessarily ME!

Lol! Funny! One of my Christmas presents from my mom was a heated blanket that goes at the end of your bed for your feet....LOVE.IT.

Glad for you it was an easy fix. I went bed wearing dbls shirts, soccer socks, my hat and scarf. Pretty soon I was peeling off and throwing clothes off as I acclimated my body temp.
