Hi,

I am just starting out and could really use a friend who is just starting out or a mentor who has been through it. I live south of Kalamazoo Michigan and will have surgery with Dr.Weaver. I'm excited and nervous.

Thanks I have been thinking about it for way to long. I am still waiting for my first appt. with the doctor. My poor timing with the holidays and all. Did you do anything major before surgery? Like prep wise?

Well i went to therapy, and tried to cut down on the way i ate cauae food was such a big part of my life. But honestly as the days got closer i got alot of anxiety and only aftet surgery did i really "feel it" but im a month post op of gastric bypass and im feeling alot better now

I am glad to hear you are doing better now I am doing the same with food and not drinking with meals etc... I am still waiting to get in for my first appt. It's driving me crazy waiting lol
