monyLiza 40 Posted January 4, 2015 Make sure you tell your doctor about your cold so they can tell you what meds you can take. I was sick for three weeks before my surgery and that day I still had coughing and some chest congestion but everything went well. I was so scared that I would start coughing during the operation but that won't happen when being completely under anesthesia. Hope you feel better soon and congratulations on your weight loss so far. Good job!!!
