Im doing fairly well. Down 37 lbs in total 30 lbs in the just about five weeks since surgery. I'm exhausted a lot. Nearly fall asleep coming home from work exhausted but the doc tells me to consume more Water even though he said my liquid and Protein intake are good overall. During the week I feel on point with my schedule and food. Over the weekends I don't get enough because I sleep 12-16 hours. So I'm struggling with that. How's everybody else faring thus far?

I had my surgery on November 10th, I'm down 33 pounds for my post-op weight. I'm doing good! How is everyone else? I'm having a little bit of a hard time accepting the fact that I lost weight because aside from my pants size, I don't really notice any changes. Is anyone else having this?

My surgery date was 11/19

I lost 12 pounds post op on my two week liquid diet

I've lost 35 pounds since surgery

I started at 275

I currently weight 227

I've had a really easy time and there have only been a few days that I've just not felt like eating at all. I don't get all my Water in every day but try as much as possible to get close. post-238573-14201558070156_thumb.jpg post-238573-14201558185406_thumb.jpg

My surgery was 11/21 and I've lost 42 lbs. Still get fatigued easily, but am back to work full time. I don't notice a lot of change, but some people have commented. Mad at myself for nibbling on a few things that I wasn't supposed to over the holidays, but getting back on track. Monday I plan on getting back on my exercise program at Curves and then work my way up to more! Leaving for FL 4 weeks from today, so hoping I have lots of energy to enjoy Disney! Good luck everyone - keep up the good work!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
