Does anyone suffer from bad stomach acid since band.

I've had my band in since 2011. I seem to do ok with 5mls in (its a 10 ml band) , if I have anymore in I get terrible stomach acid. Doesn't matter how small a portion I eat, or frenqueny... the acid is so bad it comes up into my mouth. I've never suffered from acid in my life even when i was very large. Has this happpened to anyone else and did you do anything to relieve it, other than medication.

It sounds to me like 5ml is your limit. When I had a fill that was slightly over my limit, I had the same issues you are describing AND things got stuck all the time. The best thing I can say is stay at or .5ml below your limit and things will be fine.

However, this is a question better handled by your surgeon.
