Hi All You West Coasters,

I feel like a fish out of Water. I am flying from Connecticut in less than 3 weeks for DS surgery with Dr. Rabkin at St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco. Still looking for a place, trying to do the AirBNB thing. I'm self pay. I think I'm having a meltdown. I'll be going it alone.

Anyone who can give me some encouragement or suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm not sure if this is okay to post here, so if not, please remove! However, I'd like people to know that there IS a Bay Area Support/Meetup Group that's open to everyone and held in downtown San Francisco. I'm the moderator and am a licensed therapist and wellness coach who has been specializing in WLS for 7+ years. Hi! I've been looking for a support group. I live in Pittsburg. Do you have to pay a copay to go to the groups? When is it held?

I go to a monthly support group at John Muir Concord.

I am less than 3 weeks away from having my surgery and my mom had RNY in April...always interested in local support
