2 weeks to go, and I am really nervous...

Recommended Posts

I didn't have a pre-op diet either and was back in the gym at 3 weeks, but walking from the day of surgery. I cut back on calories and focus on eating high Protein, low fat leading up to surgery, but that was it.

The first week I got tired easily but not weak or ready to pass out. I just felt like normal and would go about trying to do everything and suddenly need a nap. By the 2nd week that passed and I was ready to get back to the gym.

I suggest playing it by ear, depending on how you feel. You can always go to the gym when you're feeling up to it.

hi, i am 34 days post op sleeve surgery. so almost five weeks post op.

I am eating toast, crackers in my Soup (veg. beef, ) .

breakfast: yesterday i ate couple bites

of bananna,

Water

lunch: yogurt, small slim jim, piece of candy, 2tbs tabouli (parsley, tomatos), one cup of broccoli and cheese Soup.< /p>

dinner: piece of candy. 2 tbs of hamburger, 2 tbsp of mashed potatoes,

some stringbeans. felt like i overate. didn't feel too great.

but, these foods do go down easy. 2 potato chips.

ice tea flavored water.

note: broc and cheese soup didn't agree too much with my stomach.

toast was fine. crackers fine, slim jim fine, tabouli was okay.

bananna was fine,

Water at night and couple pieces of hard candy at nite for dry mouth.

pre op diet is fine . but, if physician didn't put you on a pre op diet don't worry about it.

you can always ask your doc if you need to be on pre op diet. requirements for me was

two days before surgery all clear liquid. sure, we all want to lose weight pre op but,

i figured i am never going to be able to eat like i did previously, so i kind of splurged a

little bit. but, afterwards now i don't feel deprived now, i really don't. because, i had my

fill pre op.

if i didn't have my fill pre op i probably would feel somewhat deprived.

just my thoughts. . . . .
