What is with this weird hiccuping after eating or drinking anything? I had surgery 9/30/14 and it is still going strong. Does it ever stop?

I don't have a hiccup issue, I just keep burping! Maybe it's because you can't drink with your food? I used to hiccup if I ate without drinking.

Things like hiccups, belching, runny nose or other minor things like this are most likely your bodies way of telling you post-op that your new pouch is full. I know that I will hiccup and if I even think of eating one more bite I'll be miserable. It's a signal from your body more likely then not.

This is also happening to me Started this week, I am 4 weeks post -op, it also accompanies very bad upper chest gas, and is always after I eat. I tried simethicone 125 for the last day and seems to have helped, but would still like to know what it is, I had no post -op issues, and then this started this last week. would love some advice

my hiccup is my full signal, sometimes it means just past full and comes with discomfort if I had not eaten slow enough. But definitely means I am full up!
