RachB 4 Posted December 26, 2014 Hi, I'm Rachel from the Queensland Central Coast in Australia. My date is the 12th Jan. I'm onto day 6 of my preop diet. Xmas was hard!!! I'm excited to be having my surgery, but a little nervous too. Is it just me, or is everyone else beginning to notice how many ads for food are on TV or FB??!! I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and to begin this journey with you! Rach xx
largeininc 16 Posted December 26, 2014 Good luck with everything. If I understand everybody, you will may be challenged for the next two weeks. Remember why you are doing what you are doing and stay strong. I am about 2 months behind you in my journey. And yes, the ads are horrible, but it is the way our society is structured. Good luck and keep us posted. Sam

Ready_For_Me_13 36 Posted December 28, 2014 Hey there.....I'm going to have mine on the 12th as well. We'll have to keep up with each other for encouragement. I'm starting my liquid diet tomorrow and I wasn't told I could eat anything other than liquid, so you're lucky in that fact. I'm told the first three days are the worse and then it gets easier so I'm looking forward to keeping myself busy on those first three days so that I don't have time to concentrate on how hungry I am or think that I am!!! LOL! Best wishes!
