cantweight14 3 Posted January 3, 2015 Me too. When?
dohickey01 8 Posted January 20, 2015 Is the process long? I go to see Dr. Foreman, speak with the nutritionist and and the insurance coordinator next month. My insurance pays for the procedure so that's not an issue.
cantweight14 3 Posted January 20, 2015 My ins paid but it still took about 4 months. I had to see the nut. And my pcp for 3 months. Also had to have other tests before i got my approval from the ins.
dohickey01 8 Posted January 20, 2015 I hope the psych visit is not mandatory. I'm not interested in sitting on a couch talking to a stranger.
dohickey01 8 Posted February 24, 2015 The psych visit went great! My paperwork was submitted 2/20. Praying for an acceptance letter and a surgery date by 3/15.

dohickey01 8 Posted March 7, 2015 Oh - got a verbal approval last Thursday - now waiting on he next steps. This stupid snow is slowing everything down.
Sleeveme15 6 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) I'm down 30 lbs. since surgery. I never had to go on a preop diet, so all of my weight loss has been post op. Yes, the snow has been a serious pain! Glad it's finally getting to be Spring now. Hopefully your process will go much faster than mine. Edited March 17, 2015 by Sleeveme15

Sleeveme15 6 Posted March 23, 2015 I feel SO MUCH better! I think it's been so long since I have lost weight that I had forgotten how good it feels to be a smaller size. How is it going on all of your approvals?
