Season26 14 Posted December 24, 2014 I never thought I'd ask this question and please don't fuss at me... How do I stop losing weight. I'm 100 pounds down, from an 18 to a 4, 5'3" tall, 130 pounds, 6 1/2 months from sleeve surgery. I really feel like I've lost enough so how do I stop losing? BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted December 24, 2014 Will you have an annual follow up on check up with your program? You need to speak with the nutritionist so she can help you plan how to eat on maintenance.
Forsythia 882 Posted December 25, 2014 How many calories are you eating? Try to get at least 1200. So add in another healthy snack. If you work out, try to dial it back say from an hour to 30 minutes cardio. I don't think anyone would fuss at you at all. It's a legitimate question once you hit your goal. Sometimes it's hard to dial it back. There is a post on here from someone who went too far and put himself in treatment for an eating disorder. So no, no one is going to be a jerk to you about a legit concern.
Kindle 8,667 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) I added more fat and carbs when I got close to goal....full fat dairy, fattier cuts of meat, fruits, starchy veggies, and whole grains. I still ended up dropping another 12 pounds, and I kind of think I'm too thin, but am finally where my body seems to wants to be. I don't track my food but a couple spot calorie checks showed I'm getting 1400-1600 calories/day. I still shoot for Protein first and meet or exceed both protein and Fluid requirements. Just keep adding a little extra each week until you find your balance. Edited December 25, 2014 by Kindle
