CanyonBaby 1,852 Posted December 24, 2014 So, seriously, does fat (when it is burned or whatever it does as it leaves us) really release hormones? Can it make us more moody and emotional, as some have suggested? Has anybody heard about this phenomena? Anyone know more about it? Does fat, indeed, store hormones? I'd love to hear more about this....Merry Christmas all!
finediva 979 Posted December 24, 2014 Yes, I believe it stores hormones. Had not had a period in 18 months. Three days after my surgery my period came and lasted 10 freaking days! I was pissed off! Had a drain, no food, was in discomfort, and to deal with that long forgotten mess. Bad fat! Bad period! Good news. .....it hasn't heen back! Thank you Lord! Aribay1 198 Posted December 25, 2014 I find this true because pre-op I had perfectly smooth skin super nice. But post op I'm going thru puberty! No matter how much I wash my face I get craters on it!
AmandaPal 19 Posted December 26, 2014 I believe estrogen stores fat or vice versa, so when fat is burned estrogen floods your system which explains the things people have posted.
