I am 4 months post surgery now, I have lost 5st 6lbs and have eventually got permission from my doctor to go back into the gym. I had a 5mile walk recently and amazed myself that I actually done it. Onwards and upwards x

Well done!

I enjoy walking/rambling, I do Zumba and swim. I've started to do on-spot jogging (at least 5K steps) as preparation for taking my first gentle run. I love gaining fitness!!!!

Isn't it great to be able to lace up one's trainers without struggling...???

Ha ha yes with the laces, 5 months ago I could not even put on my own socks, now I need to wear a belt to keep my jeans up
