ut-tenuis 1 Posted December 22, 2014 I called my doctor and he let me come in after 6 days instead of two weeks. He said it is more based on progress (ie off pain meds, walking easily) than a specific time.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted December 22, 2014 Stay out of the kitchen as much as possible.
happychic80 58 Posted December 23, 2014 Drink lots of Water and if you have a family to cook for, pass the responsibility onto someone else if you can. The hardest part for me was cooking and knowing I couldn't eat!!! You can do it!! Best of luck
Catcutie 64 Posted December 23, 2014 I just keep thinking that this is shrinking my liver and will help my surgeon preform a successful surgery with minimal complications and that this is only for a very short time in the scheme of things. Plus it's a head start on all the weight I need to lose. It's tough, I know. Hang in there! You can do it and in a few days your hunger will be more manageable (and it helps to avoid food situations if at all possible - easy to say, hard to do with Christmas this week). Chele H 427 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) Vitamin Water Zero kept my electrolytes in balance and helped with headaches. I drank at least 2 bottles a day. By day four or five my hunger and bad mood subsided a bit. I also went ot bed early....lol You've got this! Edited December 24, 2014 by Chele H
bobbyswife 862 Posted December 24, 2014 Get as creative as you can. Use s/f Torani syrups to change the flavors of your shakes, munch on ice chips, enjoy different flavors of s/f Jello.< /p>
