paristupperware 2 Posted December 21, 2014 I've seen some people post about the pre op diet, and some have asked if it is really possible to do. Has anyone attempted to follow the pre op diet before you actually had to follow it for surgery? Or is this not advisable?
primal 25 Posted December 22, 2014 I did a Breakfast smoothie for couple weeks before I started and often had a salad for dinner. Helped me to figure out what I liked for smoothie. Most of all by the time I started preop I knew I could do it.
paristupperware 2 Posted December 22, 2014 I've been doing a Breakfast shake for a few months now... I was thinking about starting to of a shake at lunchtime too. And of course having a sensible meal at dinner.< /p>
PrincessDeb 43 Posted December 22, 2014 My surgeon only made me go off of starch for the month before surgery and a liquid diet the day before.
Countrygrrl 450 Posted December 22, 2014 I'm doing the pre op diet. I am a little grumpy and just want to do my yearly eat extra sweets December thing but I think it's good to break that habit. I've slipped twice. And just get up and say you want this! The midnight snack monster was the worst to get through. But 14 lbs down pre op diet
