sld010 2 Posted December 21, 2014 I had my sleeve done on 12/2/14 and have been doing pretty well with everything. However I am having cravings for stuff that I don't need to eat yet. I should only be eating puréed food at this point per my doctor. I have tried a few things that I should not have eaten but I didn't have any issues with it. I'm just scared this is not going to go away and I need to stop this now before it becomes a problem.
greetings2u 12 Posted December 21, 2014 I am worried about overeating. I also had my surgery on 12/2/2014. The other day I ate a noodle dish and I was able to eat like two cups !! i just felt some discomfort afterwards. But, I don't want to do this again. During , the first week if i ate too much i felt pain. Why didnt i feel pain when eating the noodle dish ?

Elode 8,093 Posted December 21, 2014 @@sld010 Yes, your right you really should stop and stick to your surgeons plan. Remember just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. The last thing you want to do it cause yourself Issues. Your stomach is no where near healed yet so be careful! Hang in there you will be eating "real" food before you know it. Don't rush! BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted December 21, 2014 (edited) I'm not sure why you would even try, but it's not good for you. The surgery is but a tool, we have to train ourselves to learn new habits. For some of us that may mean counseling to handle food addictions. I would recommend tossing that noodle dish and anything else in the house that you have no self control over. Stick to your recommended eating plan. Edited December 21, 2014 by BLERDgirl
