Looking for some simple pre-made meals with high Protein. I can avoid the side dishes like mac and cheese, or rice that are sometimes served with. My dogs are good garbage disposals for that.

The healthy choice cafe streamers are tasty and have a decent amount of Protein. They also make dinners called baked. The turkey bake is my favorite. Some smart ones are also good. Trial and error! Your'e doing great so far. Have a great holiday season and enjoy your new journey!

Pre-make your lunches. Add a hard boiled egg, a couple slices of deli meat and a slice of cheese and a couple of crackers or veggies if you want. Everything but the crackers and veggies has Protein and you can mix it up with ham, turkey, chicken, cheddar, provolone, american, smoked cheddar, the option are unlimited You can make them up ahead of time for the whole week and your good. I try to stay away from any frozen/premade foods like what your talking about. They use so many preservatives and add tons of sodium.

My endocrinologist suggested the Cafe Steamers from Healthy Choice. Each one has about 17 grams of Protein, and are lower in sodium than most frozen meals. Normally I can't stand frozen dinners, but honestly I haven't found one of these steamer meals that I don't like. I don't know how I'll feel about them after my surgery, but they are delicious and convenient in my attempt to lose weight beforehand!

Thanks for the tip about the Cafe Steamers. I get so tired of cold food for lunch everyday. It will be nice to have something warm and quick.

I've tried the Atkins frozen meals, they are tasty! They are also higher in Protein and lower in carbs :)
