wannaBthinsoon 1,634 Posted December 20, 2014 I read lots of stuff on the internet, especially lately. But I read on webmd that if a person has no symptoms of gallstones, then the gallbladder will be left in tact and meds will be given to dissolve potential gallstones during the rapid weightloss phase. Any truth to that?
amazon 579 Posted December 20, 2014 That's been my experience. I'm on 300mg 2 x day of ursodiol (sp?) I'll be on this for the first 6 months to prevent gall stones.

amazon 579 Posted December 20, 2014 Same here - they're horse pills, but haven't had any unpleasant reactions to them. Mine are just normal sized capsules. Maybe there's another they could use if they're hard to get down?

HMR 33 Posted December 21, 2014 I have surgery monday and have those to take also, they are capsules and was wondering if I should open them or swallow whole? I can't beelive if youhave that much trouble getting 1-2 oz of Water down that we can get a large capsule down. It's a little daunting looking..lol.
