Trillium 50 Posted December 29, 2014 Surgery tomorrow, I haven't done liquid diet at all. My surgery is tomorrow at 6:30 pm. I had to do Clear liquids today . . . several cups of coffee, lots of Water, and for dinner, beef broth, then nothing by mouth after 10:30 am tomorrow. Why no liquids for you? maria88 11 Posted December 29, 2014 Wow! I wonder why some have to do 14 day clear or 7 day clear or 2 day clear or what you are doing or either nothing. Makes me think that well, if I have some green Beans or a slice of lunch meat and chew really really good, it will be alright. I did great today to say the least but I work at a school and THEY will have staff parties during tests Wed - Fri but I am determined to do it! They all know and have been threatened if they bring any food near me, lol! I asks my doc about why I had to do a one day liquid when others have more days... I was told that the main objective is to clear the intestine and stomach, also the make the liver smaller... Idk I'd that helps. But I was also told it depends on the bloodwork and test that they run on you too.
