artdecade 14 Posted December 15, 2014 After 7 months of meeting insurance requirements and what seemed like a thousand appointments, I'm getting sleeved tomorrow! I'm so overwhelmed with so many different emotions. I'm trying to get my hospital bag put together now (hope I don't forget anything). I just really can't wait to be on the other side. Andrew0929 1,101 Posted December 15, 2014 I was in your shoes 1 year ago almost to the day. I was very nervous and partly due this being my first surgery and all the other typical reasons. Although I had a few bumps in the road this has turned out to be the best decision I ever made. Good luck and start getting excited about the great changes coming soon. Babbs 14,681 Posted December 15, 2014 This was my mantra after surgery: Walk, walk, walk. Sip, sip sip. Good luck and good healing!

artdecade 14 Posted December 17, 2014 Surgery went well! Yesterday was pretty rough - had lots of pain and cramping. No complications though, just starting to sip on a Protein Shake and still in the hospital. Odds are good I'll be going home today! I'm so relieved for it to finally be over! Now its time to recover and get healthy!!!
