Kindle 8,667 Posted December 16, 2014 Also remember that I don't have those skinny-person gut microbes that your friend gifted you with. True! But it was so much fun the first time, I'm sure she wouldn't mind donating again if you ever feel up to it....she's THAT generous! ???? ) But seriously, I do sometimes wonder how much that has contributed to my success..... jess9395 5,449 Posted December 16, 2014 I eat like you Kindle and have lost 130lbs and below goal. No helpful gut microbe transfer here! I can't eat enough for a true "meal" so most of what I do are "snacks" and I do a number through the day. Also focus on Protein but don't consider carbs the devil, especially fresh and dried fruit and oatmeal. I also do a few bites of dessert or fries when the urge hits. Mostly no bread, rice or Pasta. I exercise a lot, so maybe that does it?
FairySleeve 297 Posted December 17, 2014 I agree with Kindle, I don't want to be on any diet anymore. Though I need to find my balance, I like that my doctor encouraged me to eat on fix hours so I can plan on the quantity of Water which I tend to forget to drink especially while working (I drink at least half a liter between meals) then I can meet my water requirement. I do not have plan for every meal, too much work!! but I'm more careful with the choices I'm having for each meal. Eating Protein first, following by vegetable helps a lot, yesterday I ordered grilled chicken, veggies and some fried noodle (because I wanted to eat noodle) but turned out I was full before touching the noodles and satisfied (because I ordered it). I'm pretty much on auto-pilot now for what should I eat, which is I like the most for my life post Sleeve.
