Luann919 7 Posted December 14, 2014 My surgery date is dec 18, and I am 4 days into my clear liquid diet!! I am so hungry. I have dreamed about food the past two nights. My diet says I can have: Protein Drink mixed with Water or skin milk. SF Jello, SF Popsicles, broth or consommé, pulp free fruit juice and diet or sf sports drinks. And of course water. I'm wondering if I can get a can of light progresso Soup and strain the liquid and eat that for broth? Any advice?? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AmandaPal 19 Posted December 15, 2014 I buy chicken stock and fortify it with thyme, rosemary, cloves, two onions, halved, and lemon juice because I find that flavor comforting. gingerrsnapps 0 Posted December 16, 2014 OMG I was so were you are on Saturday. I was scheduled to have my surgery on December 18th but due to the lack of losing the 10 lbs I as told to come back on Jan. 5, 2015. It is truly hard being that it is holiday time. I don't know what to tell but what I found helped me was to drink the broth from Progresso Light Soups (70 calories) and that kinda took the hunger away. It is an awful terrible feeling. sugar free Jello, sugar free pudding, and Water, exercise. Let me know how it's going. I am habving to start over again I have got to make this happen.
