Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted December 13, 2014 Now that I'm trying to eat cleaner and preparing more of my own food I am experimenting with herbs and spices. How do you use herbs (fresh and dried) and spices? Do you have any favorite herb mixes? What are your staples and how have you used them in the various post-op phases? Elode 8,093 Posted December 13, 2014 Well I'm Italian so I put garlic on everything! I like fresh rosemary on chicken, Basil and dill on fresh fish, bay leaves in stews, And cilantro in fresh salsa! I just loves spices in general so I have a cupboard full and just pull whatever sounds good out.

swimbikerun 1,046 Posted December 13, 2014 Have you gone to Williams Sonoma or a Fresh Market or Whole Foods? Those places normally have fresh herbs and many times recipes to go with them. Williams Sonoma has different sauces, salts, etc. that you can also try to spice up your food. Whole Foods has several items not normally carried elsewhere, and there are items you can try on the salad and hot bars.
