Alright then... As long as we can keep talking about the important stuff... This thread is definitely not for the faint of heart. (or the slow of reading, either)

I am planning on getting some riding in this weekend....oh ya, oh ya...

AND.....Last night, I emptied all of my purses and have started a road bike fund.

I will plan on using any overtime money I can spare and add to it to. I found a real nice trek bike on there site last night while trying to find D's...(which I nver found)....I would love to get one now...but....

I am glad we have all the new people on here adding there 2 cents...LOL too funny

BG, Thank you for asking. It makes me crazy too.

A million pages ago D tried to get a new thread started but we all just continued on over here. You know we could just hop to a new thread...too.

D, I could try to find JC a girl friend, I'd have a hard time being a stand in however. Boys are fun to talk to but they are hairy and that kind of grosses me out. JC understands, pushing up on a hairy butt probably doesn't do much for him either.

But I could be wrong. He might like his ladies robust.

I had a German uncle who thought women with unshaved legs were "Robusto!". I was 16 and thought he was insane.

My wife suspected I was looking at a porn site ever since joining this forum. Then she peeked over my shoulder and saw the posts about creaming panties, thongs, etc and is now convinced of it. LMAO! I guess bikes and panties help keep our minds off our old food habits.

I just wonder if a thong is good to wear when riding a bike? Does it wick away the moisture? LOL LOL LOL

Keep the posts coming. Their great!

Perhaps we could call the new thread "Crotches, Boners and Bikes?"

I've been know to call a cranky person a "crotch". I've been known to be cranky too. It's true.

Talking about wicking away mosture while biking...this is really a biking question....

Has anyone found a good way to absorb the mosture in the pants area? You know where the skin is somewhat layered?

I try powder that doesn't absorb much....

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
