babygrl1234 6 Posted January 13, 2009 I managed to get on my bike for about 30 minutes yesterday (on the trainer not outside). It was certainly not as fun as being outside but I think I got a much better workout judging by all the sweat pouring off of me when I was finished. Felt good. babygrl1234 6 Posted January 13, 2009 You can bike indoors?! Yes you can!!!! I have an indoor trainer that holds my bike. It holds the back tire on a roller and you can just pedal away. I will have to see if i can find a link for you.

OH Juli 15 Posted January 14, 2009 I wonder if I should get a trainer...do you think spinning is equal to?
babygrl1234 6 Posted January 14, 2009 Spinning is more fun. And I can't really stand on my trainer. But I do like the option of riding in my own living room while watching my tivo shows. Plus it was free. That makes a difference.

Chris61 0 Posted January 16, 2009 (edited) Zero here. Told cold to ride a bike at least for me. I have seen a couple of people out walking in shorts and even ridding a scotter. We had another 2 inches of snow yesterday. I am able to get excerise in with walking about 3 blocks from the parking area to the project site. Iam now working in New Haven, CT (Yale) and go back and forth to St. Louis. Chris Edited January 16, 2009 by Chris61
