Bitches. Lol. Drink up for me!!

About the indigestion!! - I'm GOOD! No pain or flare ups since last night. I took 1 20mg omeprazole and all is goooooooooooooood. Lol. If it happens again I'll check into it further... but I really never thought I was too tight cause I could still eat - it just was like the firey pit of hell living inside my chest!

As for Stef, I texted with her today and I guess she is without power for the time being, due to the nasty storms. Hopefully she'll be up and running soon. She misses you all!

turler,

how are you feeling today?? I hope you are taking it easy, but making sure you walk.....

It is cold here today. Not any riding but we did some cleaning of the yard and cleaning of the cars....So, I guess that will count.

I had a NSV today and am soooo happy! Last year....a size 30/32 was a pant size that I was all too familar with. This consignment shop bought some after market items from MAcy's and had a big sale. I bought pants in size 18 and another in a 20! I was soooooo freakin hyped about it. I cant tell you the last time I saw that!

We rode

Pictures later....

IT was COLD and windy but we did 54 mother fuckin' miles in 4 hours 9 minutes and 57 seconds.

We stopped twice to thaw and eat.

BG has a mild case of frost bite on her toes. She got my snot in her face, good times.

Sagged in after 35 miles

1 hour, 2 minutes stopped

Avg. speed this event 14.4

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
