Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

Recommended Posts

I just make fun of the slapping sound it makes on my legs.

Brett is an old has been whiney baby who should just give it up. He has had his day, so now he sholud put on his big boy pants and enjoy retirement.

Why anyone whould want to be a cheese head is beyond me.

Yeah the sweat that collects under there is worse than the sound it makes. Try doing jumping squats in a room full of skinny women with the slap slap of the stomach on the thighs--always a good time.

Yeah, same as cycling, the sweat is a killer, but at least it is not slapping around as I ride, and even if it were, no one would hear it.

Long, what is your age, if I might ask??

Bg, I was wondering because of your goal, that is about where the doc says I should be and I am 5'7".....

I hooked up my bike to the trainer yesterday, but when I do that the front tire does not move, so I don't know how many miles I went. I did it for an hour, so I just played it safe and say I went 10 miles. It was probably more like 20, but since I don't know for sure, I didn't want to over calculate, for HP's sake, ya know???

Have a family meeting tonight to plan in laws 40th anniversary party, so not sure how much riding i will get in tonight. Life is getting in the way of my riding.

Even I will admit Brett has had his day and needs to retire! Retire with class and stop this whining and indecision.

Why do you want to know? I'm 49+1 ;) Just had the big 5-0 a few weeks after banding, it was my gift to myself.

well, I've not ridden in a couple days. I will get out there tonight. I'm not at the point where I just thoroughly enjoy it yet, but butt hurts and knee hurts and it's easy to make excuses, especailly when it's been around 100 every day. But I gotta do it or I will never get past 2 miles. Or keep this great pace of weight loss going.

Almost to 500 pages, just sayin'....

How soon do you think? Shall we let it come naturally? I have to go run and don't want to...but I will.

Oh crap! I left my iPod at home.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.

Lost my Pup last month and struggled really hard for that first month. Stopped tracking intake and slid into old habits here and there. Also quit working out. Can't walk in the neighborhood because of all of the memories we shared. Losing my Pup is the most heartbreaking thing I've ever been through. My Pup was my world 💔
Talked to my doc during my one year followup and they were not worried about my current status. They know, and I know, that I will get back on track.

I'm so sorry. I lost my pup (Mr. Bitters - a chocolate Pomeranian) 2 years ago and it still makes me tear up. He was my everything - my constant companion. I understand. Do the best you can to get back on track.
