loveangelpet 0 Posted July 15, 2008 ok i'm new to the biking routine. hubby and i bought us each a bike on saturday and began riding in the evening. Wonderful!! Its so fun.. i feel like a girl again, and he's enjoying it to. However i dont think i can get to the miles you guys are riding...YOU ALL ROCK!! 2 miles so far but its more then before... hopefully the scale will keep sliding down ...and i will hit that goal. glad to see this strand and so many of you made me feel like i can do this. thanks
areellady 1 Posted July 15, 2008 loveangelpet, DON'T FRET!!! We all on this thread were very heavy when starting to ride. You will do just fine. We get these miles in because of the love of the riding. It used to be about the exercise and just moving in the beginning. Then, it takes over and soon you love it for what it is....a wonderful, fun thing to do. Two miles is great starting out!!!! You will work your way up and soon be doing 10 miles then 20....we all were where you are right now....we worked on it a little at a time and got to this point. Keep posting here and hopefully we can share what we know with you to help you in any way we can.
