J - That issue does exist. A school, though, might argue that a paper turned in for a grade is a "work for hire," your compensation being a grade and the opportunity to graduate. If it is a work for hire, then they have some ownership interest in the final product. Not sure how that would hold up in court. At the end of the day, though, they could say that it is a requirement to be at that school that you assign them certain rights, including the right to submit to turnitin. OH Juli 15 Posted October 30, 2007 A cross post but to you an feel for what I'm dealing with currently: Having had my blood work done at 6 months out it was determined that I am a bit low on Vitamin B 12. I thought I'd just add sources to my diet instead of taking a supplement. I went to foodtv.com found a recipe, went to Whole Foods, bought some liver, cooked it up all like I was told. Took a bight and immediately thought is tastes like a dirty barn smells. But the second bight wasn't too bad. I didn't realize I was hurrying it up in my mouth. By the third bight I knew it was all going to come back up. OH For the love of god, this is horrible. This is the worst PB to date. I write in present tense because as soon as I think I am done, there is more. It's like an informercial, "No wait, there's more." The lesson to take away from this LIVER=BAD.
