Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

Stef, the bike is a specialized Sirus comp. It's basically a crossover bike. Everything about it is road bike except for the handle bars which are more like a mountain bike.

JC, do you find overweight women attractive? I am mad at DH right now.....my car stinks really really really bad, like something crawled in it and died. I told DH about it and of course, did he look.....NO......He said, yeah, it stinks.....but did not do anything about it. I am pissed.

D, I find WOMEN attractive, period. Have you ever churned butter? LOL

I love gettin some butter churned! Sorry J. I couldn't help myself and besides I wouldn't be me if I didn't share that little tidbit with you guys.

LMAO....I know how to churn butter, but, I am not mad anymore, so I guess DH will be getting his butter churned tonight. Oh my god, that is just toooooo freakin funny. I am going to adopt this butter churning saying.

JC, the thought just crossed my mind. Do you date overweight women? I remember reading a thread I think in the rants and raves about who people found attractive and most of the overweight people did not find overweight people attractive. What do you all think? I think that I am attracted more to personality but I like big men. Not way overweight, but big as in tall and muscular. Both of which my DH is not. He is 5'9" but weighs about 170. He has been the same size since high school. In fact he may be a bit smaller since high school.

D, My first wife weiged 96-98 pounds but her attitude became intolerable. My last wife was in the 200 pound range. I have dated all sizes. I am attracted to many different things, of course a nice figure is pleasing to the eyes but it is not my focus. I look at the total person. What they are about as much as what they look like.

I have noticed that,,, (MOST) ,,,notice I did not use a blanket statement, most, of the Barbie Doll types are a Royal Pain in the Ass.

I have had to deal with an above average amount of close to home deaths in my life. I know how short life can be and I see no value in putting up with someone elses bullshit regardless of anything, much less looks.

BTW, I still heart churned butter! I am glad you are not mad at DH anymore!!!

<----- Wayne county butter churning champion in the house.

Wow I sound like either a really good farmer or a big time whore. Guess this is not the time to mention that my Virginia is itchy.

I am not really attracted to overweight men. It sounds stupid and shallow considering where I have come from but it is true. Muscular is great, even with a little pudge is okay. But athletic guys really do it for me. I have an obsession with football players. And men who like to do outdoorsy things, camping, biking, hiking, etc. I hate to sound like such a superficial bitch but DH is starting to look pregnant and it is such a huge turnoff for me. Maybe he is right, maybe I am shallow.

BG, I don't think you are shallow. I think you have taken control of your life and want the same for DH.

JC, I need to ask you a question. What is a really good laptop computer to get. My MIL wants to get my FIL one for Christmas and she thinks because I am in college I am smart about everything. LOL....which I am, but not computers. LOL...Can you help me out, or anyone? I have a stupid compaq presario and I hate it.

Talking about being attracted to fat people as a fat person. My Ex is fat and it didn't bother me. Once someone called us bookends and that bothered me. I decided from that point forward I wouldn't be with short and fat if I got another chance. Horrible but true.

Tall and fat, tall and regular, short and regular. Frankly someone needs to be smart to keep my interest.

HP

Passing to the olive garden is understandable. It's all pasta..well there is Soup and salad. Niether of which work that well for me now. Lettuce is just gross chewed to the right consistency and the soup, isn't chewy enough and I feel like I'm going to be hungry again too soon.

Are you going to the pool and hot tub tonight?

Saw my PCP & officially started my 6 month supervised diet 07/26/24. She just told me to eat less carbs & sugar, use the air fryer and not fry my foods in grease, and to try to walk 30 minutes 3 days a week & if I can't do that (and I cannot), to walk 10 minutes daily. Told me to walk fast enough that my heart rate is raised.  She didn't give me a number as far as calories though. A year or so ago I was doing low carb/sugar free and keeping my calories at 1800 or below. She said I should up my cals to 2000 at that time, so that's what I'm shooting for now.
Hubby walked with me today. He's in pretty bad shape so I was surprised he wanted to. We walked down the gravel road at a pretty good pace (for us LOL). 10 minutes walking and my heart rate was 115bps according to my Fitbit and 125bps according to his pulsometer. Either way, it was elevated and I was breathing hard. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's a start. We'll do it again tomorrow. 😁
I should be hearing from the surgeon soon. She said if I didn't, to call him next week. Since I HAVE to do the 6 month diet & that's going to put me into January by the time it's done, I'm hoping the surgeon will let me do all my testing in January. I don't want to do it all now and have my deductible get met, only to have to pay the deductible again in January or February for my surgery. Praying that things go the way I hope. 🙏

Factors Affecting the Growth of the Alternative Sweeteners Industry:
Health Consciousness: The increasing awareness among individuals about the health issues linked to high sugar consumption, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, is supporting the market growth. Consumers are becoming more health-conscious and seeking products that can provide sweetness without the negative health effects associated with sugar. This shift in consumer preferences is leading to a greater demand for low-calorie and natural sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, and erythritol. These sweeteners offer the added benefit of having minimal impact on blood glucose levels, making them suitable for diabetic and health-conscious individuals.
Technological Advancements: Innovations in the production and formulation of alternative sweeteners are impelling the market growth. Advancements in biotechnology and food science are leading to the development of high-intensity sweeteners with improved taste profiles and functional properties. Innovations in fermentation processes enhance the production efficiency and quality of natural sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit. These technological improvements are making alternative sweeteners more appealing to both manufacturers and consumers. Enhanced stability, solubility, and sweetness intensity allow these sweeteners to be used in a wide range of products, ranging from beverages to baked goods.
Consumer Trends and Preferences: Evolving consumer trends and preferences are playing a significant role in driving the alternative sweeteners market. Besides this, there is an increase in the demand for low-calorie and sugar-free alternatives that support weight management and overall wellness. Food and beverage companies are responding to these trends by innovating and expanding their product lines to include options sweetened with alternative sweeteners, thereby catering to changing tastes and health concerns of modern consumers.
