Didn't get many miles on the stationary. I guess 5 is better than 0. I would have got more but I have to go to work and they prefer that I stay away from Tequilla. I don't know what their problem is, I guess I could have called in drunk.

I have thought about learning peoplesoft. There are a lot of high paying jobs in Tampa/Orlando for peoplesoft admins.

It is a pain in the butt for me. I never had any real training on it. Most of what I have learned has been through looking through the instruction manual. We use this and scan modul for our stock replenishment and I am the one who has volunteered to make all of our bar codes and such for the items in our deparment (OR supplies), since no one else was doing it. Well now that has manifested into me doing them for everyone(entire hospital). I don't mind helping out but I feel a bit taken advantage of. Plus I have had no training and this crap is not interfacing properly.

Okay even if you have no clue what I am talking about I feel better venting about it lol.

Going to be one of "those" days Can't find cell phone.

I was going to try to get the mobile bicycle tune-up dude to work on my rides today. I have been trying to find training videos to help me fine tune my bikes, so far no luck.

We use an in-house system for tracking supplies. This is code for hold vacation or something over Jody's head until he makes a program for us, I keep telling these guys I am a network/hardware person not a programmer. I guess in a small town like this they think I.T. stands for you're "IT". I know exactly where you are coming from.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
