roundisashape 712 Posted December 7, 2014 Made some chicken and pureed it tonight. It's hard to get down so I could only eat about a tablespoon of it, but this is my first try with chicken. Anyway, it tasted good so I thought I'd share. Sorry about the lack of actual measurements, I usually wing it in the kitchen. 2 chicken breasts (boneless/skinless) in a baking dish Salt and pepper to taste Garlic and onion powder to taste Cover with dried cilantro (I just sprinkled until there was a lot of green on the chicken) Add juice from 2 limes I didn't add additional Water, but wish I would've added a little more to make more juice for blending. Probably 1/4 cup would have been good Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 for about 40 minutes, give or take. My oven may be off. Good not blended, but not bad blended either! 1 MBird reacted to this
Tscription 53 Posted December 7, 2014 The best meal I ever had on the puréed stage was a puréed medium rare restaurant filet. I brought it home and added a little au jus and blended it till the consistency of pate. I got a 3 meals out of it and a year later and at goal I still think about how yummy it was. Good luck on your journey. 1 MBird reacted to this
