Divorce after plastic surgery and/or bariatric surgery

Recommended Posts

its horrible for you to have to go through all this. The sacrifices that are made just to be healthy and not overweight are lost on people in general. No one thinks that an obese person is giving up anything in order to lose this weight. You are evidence of some of the harsher things that get sacrificed. I truly wish you well and wish you did not have to undergo this. You have your chin up and will to succeed , that I can see. You are a string person now and I wish you the best, in everything.

@@glgk30 it sounds like it's his problem not yours, but so sorry that you have come so far to discover this-what did he think would happen?I agree that you must be a strong person to have accomplished all that you have in order to get a TT & liposuction. I wish you continued strength & perseverance to get through this, but don't let him take away your accomplishments.

It sometimes feels

Like this relationship is the biggest battle. Wondering if I won't be a statistic. I flirt I did at my heavyset weight heck I started at 13 and never stoped. Had a huge overly dramatic fight for flirting with the old guys at the Feed store. Same flirting we have done for 10 years. He asked me when was I gonna marry him and I asked him how bigs that diamond? We do this all the time. In front of my other half. I turn around and wtf she's drove off and left me!!! Not a joke. I played it off as it was a joke to not embarrass this man. Lord give me strength. I had a moment. I own everything the ranch the cars the trucks. She would have to move to her parents and live on disability. That was almost the straw that broke the camels back. # week one # weak one

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
