All are welcome. It is a nice way to meet with those of us with common lifestyles!
iheart_me 3 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) Dr. Lindquist was my dietician at Swedish Weight Loss and Dr. Ross McMahon was my first choice but he recently left. I plan to go with Dr. Brian Sung I met him in the seminar. Edited January 16, 2015 by iheart_me
HappyChic 32 Posted February 19, 2015 Dr. Sung was my surgeon. I had RNY on 2/10/15 and it went very well. My surgery was in Seattle instead of Issaquah since I had a hernia repair at the time and the thoracic dr. Operates in Seattle. I highly recommend Dr. Sung! MisforMimi 760 Posted April 1, 2015 Crowd-sourcing: Hey Everyone, Kay Feather aka primal and I started a WLS support group out of what we thought was a real need in the community for face-to-face support and the opportunity to put faces to names, profile pics and avatars. It has met a few times on the Northend/Bothell area. The attendance has been hit-or miss since its inception last November. I'm wanting to throw out there a couple of questions and hoping to get some responses. Do you need face-to-face support beyond what is offered at your care facility? What would increase or decrease the chance of you attending? If you like the idea of a meet-up in what forum (cafe, church, restaurant etc), location (north, south, east, central), what topics would you like to see addressed or appeals most? Would you be interested in events like hikes or races? Or are you happy with on-line support and support from your surgery facility's . Thanks everyone for your feedback in advance! samcl1 52 Posted December 21, 2015 Dr.Sung did my surgery on Dec 15th. I can't say enough good about him and his whole team! The nurses at Swedish first hill were all superb as well. I have been a nurse for 35 years and I am very hard to please I have absolutely no complaints. I was treated with compassion and respect throughout the whole process. The first day home I was called twice to make sure I was ok. Still sore but otherwise I feel great. 1 ambutler05 reacted to this
