Know what happens when your a**, b**bs, and stomach all deflate?

Recommended Posts

I found out....about three months out and I can now wear an XL sweatshirt...but here's the real news...it hangs straight down past the cr*tch, so if I were 30 years younger I could put on leggings and wear it like a dress! Who knew deflated body equals clothes that hang straight down?

Funny. My fear is that my butt would completely disappear. It really is my fear.

LOL! That is so true!!! My stuff got pretty flat too with the exception of my butt & hips. A steamroller couldn't flatten those! LMBO

@ FineDiva

Yep. My former Jay-Lo butt deflated. :o

Bad timing. My butt was high & round, in the 1980's - 1990's when pencil straight was media-marketed as "desirable".

In the mid-late 2000's, way over-inflated.

Now that big round butts are in, mine went flat. Go figure.

*heads-up:

Partially my fault. I didn't keep squatting.

Good news: I'm told it's repairable- just get squatting again. ;-)

That, and a little plastic surgery. B)

@@NewLife'sGr8. Well I know I won't do the plastic surgery route, but I'm really gonna try the squats. I still have 28 pounds to go and I'm so worried I'll be completely flat back there. For me, that would be so disappointing. Now my boobs went down, and I'm completely ok with that. I hated my overly large girls. Those I plan to get lifted, hopefully. Funny thing is I carry alot of fat in my calves. They are taking their time getting smaller, but my but is shrinking? SMH.

You all inspired me to begin light-weight lifting and toning routine. Hopefully I'll tighten up those sagging parts. ????

My boobs and butt also disappeared after loosing 60 pounds. I gained about 25-30 of the back. No boobs but butt. This time I'm gonna do squats once I'm ready to exercise more. Although I kinda like saying my pants keep falling down

My rear, chest and thighs have also all deflated, and it's sad. I've been looking at swim tops to wear with spandex shorts because my thighs look like they just had babies, I swear! Breasts hand sooooo low, and butt? What butt? My daughter (personal trainer) looked at me the other day and said, "My lord - you have NO butt!" And I'm here to tell you, I run three days a week AND workout hard in the gym three times a week and squats are definitely prominent in the workout--to no avail. Although, if I weren't doing them maybe I'd be concave?! Actually, it's flat, but not at all sagging or droopy, so i'm grateful for that at least.

With all this slipping and sagging though, i'm still THRILLED with the body i have now that's 100 lbs lighter than when i started my pre-op diet. No cute butt or sexy DDs will ever in the world be worth going back there.

saggy and happy, Kate

My boobs are shrinking. All my shirts are starting to fit weird. Not sure I'm happy or sad about that just yet, The were DD's.

I'm most irked that with less arm, shoulder and back fat, my sleeves are longer and the shoulder seams are now almost two inches lower down than they are supposed to be - which is when i retire the shirt. A good thing weight loss wise, but hard to see so many nice things only recently bought have to go!

My boobs deflated as did my legs. I've always had skinny legs so I am working on building those muscles. As for my rear-end, no amount of weight loss will make that deflate. I've got hips and a fanny for days. Kim K has nothing in me.

Its okay though, I like my curves. I just wish my boobs didn't deflate. But at least I am healthier now and that's what matters the most.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
