Moneen 16 Posted December 3, 2014 Any suggestions on what worked and what wasn't worth it to drag there?
BeagleLover 1,020 Posted December 3, 2014 chapstick
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted December 3, 2014 chapstick and a charger for your phone. Make sure you wear loose, comfortable clothes to the hospital so you can wear them home. Everything else the hospital can provide.
Lacowgirl72 210 Posted December 3, 2014 I packed all kinds of stuff and really all I needed was chapstick and clothes to wear home. It was easier to stay in the hospital gown as I had to pee every hour! I didn't even look at my phone hardly because the anti-nausea patch made my eye site blurry. Zane's Mom 184 Posted December 4, 2014 I agree with the above posters. Chapstick. Also I was so thankful to have my tennis shoes with me. As I was walking around the halls, I was taking the iv stand with me and kept kicking it. Hurt my toes. So I put on my shoes and problem solved. Or just have someone with you to keep the iv stand out of your way. Haha.
nursmate2 40 Posted December 4, 2014 Chapstick, a robe, my toothbrush...mouth was super gross...and very comfy clothes to go home! Good luck!
Chele H 427 Posted December 4, 2014 I brought an extension cord so my phone and kindle charger could be plugged in at the same time and reach the wall outlet
Luvin_Life125 558 Posted December 4, 2014 I brought lots of things. The only things I used were: Extension cord Phone charger Heating pad Phone Toothbrush & toothpaste Biotine mouthwash Hairbrush (I have extremely long hair) Clean underwear And Chapstick that is it. I wore the same clothes home that I came to the hospital in. I stayed in the hospital gown and the hospital slipper socks. Pack light because you honestly won't need much. emsgirl114 88 Posted December 4, 2014 They gave me Chapstick. I suggest a hairbrush and toothbrush. The codeine they gave me was on liquid form so that helped so much with the sore throat.
