Willy63 4 Posted December 3, 2014 Anyone else have surgery on the 8th? I would love to have a surgery partner. I am so scared right now. My mother knows 2 people personally who died from bypass, 10-15 years ago. I didn't tell her until last weekend because I knew that she would be negative. I am 52 years old and want to live to see my grandchildren. I need to stop reading the internet and seeing horror stories! My husband, children, and best friend are supportive. I know she is scared for me, but I really need to be positive right now.

Sexy Granni 34 Posted December 7, 2014 I'm on for the 8th. Tomorrow less than 24 hrs. Omg. My surgery is first on the schedule. They only ask me to be on liquids clear only today. Yesterday I ate chicken and mac cheese. I had a half glass of wine as a goodbye of my fat unhealthy self.
Berlee 10 Posted December 7, 2014 I woke this morning thinking tomorrow is the day, we will all do fantastic. Granni- you are lucky to be the first one on the schedule and lucky that you got a last meal When this all started it seemed to take forever but now is going so fast, I have lost weight extremely well on the pre-op liquid diet. The next journey is a good an permanent one. Today I will make a Protein "toast to Heath" for us all!
