Puréed Stage - How Many Calories?

I cannot find a clear answer on how many calories we should be eating during this stage. I'm 10 days post-op and still not very hungry. I'm getting between 600-800 calories a day but I'm also walking 2-4 miles a day burning from 200-300 calories. I don't want my body to go into starvation mode and have my weight loss stop. Anyone have any ideas on what should be happening at this point? I cannot get a response from my doctors office

I say, keep doing what you are doing. Don't worry so much about all of that right now. At this stage, your body is still healing. Don't stress about the caloric intake just yet.

I completely understand. But it'll all come when it's supposed to. No need to worry about the calories until the chopped stage or after your first fill.

i don't believe in the starvation mode thing like I used to, although, of course, my body was well prepared for famine. Plenty of fat stores! Well, with the band I've finally tapped into storage and gotten the weight off -- I figure that's the whole idea. And I don't count calories now -- I just listen to my body.
