I feel like I am in a stall, I am still stuck at 215 its been three weeks beginning this week, I decided to do an extra week of liquids because my stomach was so swollen. It is hard for me to get my protien or even 600-700 calories a day. My tummy is very upset today gassy, Maybe because I tried Beans last night but then decided to stay on liquids any advice? what else can I be eating to get it in? Ive been doing two Protein Shakes a day worth 170 calories a pudding and some Soup, I am sipping all day just done feel hungry at all.

Completely normal. So normal, it even has a name: "The Dreaded Three Week Stall". Keep trying to find soft Proteins you can tolerate, get all your liquids in, and it will pass. Most all of us have gone through it! Hang in there!

Have you tried scrambled eggs yet? Greek yogurt? You are approved for soft foods now, correct?

Congratulations! You have reached The Dreaded Week-3 Stall. It's perfectly normal, and just about all of us have suffered through it. You're not crazy, and your doctor didn't screw up. In fact, you might not lose any weight for two weeks or even longer. But don't worry – after that, the weight will start falling off if you stick to your program. And, the inches will continue to come off even while the scale isn't budging. Here's a good article that explains why it happens and why we all have to go through it. Hang in there. Pretty soon it'll be in the rear-view mirror and you'll be dropping weight again like crazy!

(Apologies to BP regulars who have seen this repeatedly, but it's a big deal to those who are going through it!)
