Another Newbie

Got banded a week ago Wednesday.

Dr. Ponce in Dalton, Ga is my surgeon.

I would love to receive comments and suggestions

from those experienced with the lapband.

:help: I get a lot of gas especially late evening. Sometimes I have trouble getting to sleep because I feel so bloated. I feel great the next morning, but then my stomach growls so loud that it can be heard by everyone.

LOL! Yeah, that's normal. It will get less and less as you go. I noticed it again after I had a fill, but it also passed within a few days or so.

You will have swelling for several days...maybe even a couple of weeks...I did....I took liquid gas-x for several days after surgery...after that, all went well....you are still probably just healing from surgery....it was only a week on Wed....that is not long....hang in there....you will be fine....
