Sunnyskies2283 23 Posted November 30, 2014 For people that have been sleeved for a bit, what have you done well and what are you struggling with? Here's my list (I'm 5 months out)ç Victories: 1. Exercise (although slipping a bit last 2 weeks) 2. Portion Control, logging, measuring, and planning 3. Protein selections 4. Avoiding sweets and bad carbs 4. Water (quantity and waiting 30 minutes) Struggles: 1. Eating slow - never do it really. 2. Caffeine - drinking coffee.< /p> 3. Not enough fruits and vegetables. 4. Have on a few occasions had a couple alcoholic drinks. Surgeons rule is absolutely none for a full year.

tracywag 27 Posted December 2, 2014 I'm doing good on diet and liquids. Not so good on exercise. I am sore and exhausted.
Crystal88 85 Posted December 2, 2014 Bad:Sugary items - sugar LOVES my body, and it loves to turn right into fat and latch onto me. I had too much Cheesecake during Thanksgiving, I'll just leave it at that. Water intake - I'd say the most I've taken in is 46 ounces. There have been days where I drank so little, that I felt light headed. Good: Vitamin intake - This is actually much easier than I thought. I wake up, put the B12 sublingual under my tongue, half hour later have my chewable Multivitamin with yogurt, then an hour later take my first tablespoon of liquid Calcium Citrate.
