@@laurenella82 check out Vionics......I have a thing for shoes, too, but need an orthotic footbed. We live in marvellous times.......I have clogs, sandals (snazzy ones!) and I have my eye on a pair of their boots.

My dream outfit? Being acceptable on the beach, not embarrassed in my bathing suit. I already looks great (did I say that?) in a dress. That was a big goal for me.

I want to be able to wear a swimming suit and feel good. That'd be a huge deal :)

How could I forget?!

I bought a house last year with a huge swimming pool and I've been hiding in my house when guests come over for a dip for 2 summers in a row! I'm always in charge of the food....LOL...No more! :P

I have a few!

1. Something backless.

2. My Abercrombie & Fitch jeans(last worn when I weighed 142 lbs)

3. Shorts that don't have to go to my knees.

4. Leggings and knee high boots with a top that doesn't necessarily have to cover my butt.

Im really happy with my daily outfit of skinny jeans or jeans with a slight flare, a long sleeve T, a cute vest or fitted cardigan sweater, a long scarf (I have about 30 !) silver hoop earrings, a snazzy Bracelet, and to top it all off, a cool pair of flat boots and sometimes a cute knitted hat . This all shows off my figure in the right way !

I've been having fun re inventing my "look". Jeans and Tshirts are the norm, because of all the animals.. But, I've joined Pinterest and have been having a great time "pinning" new looks. It has actually made me less uncomfortable with shopping. In the past, it was find jeans that fit, buy five pair, dozen tee shirts, good to go... Not any more!!! Fun times!

So I guess, I indulge my dream outfit every time I pin!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
