DMoon 2 Posted November 30, 2014 Question for the veterans, I am three weeks post op and I am on pureed foods. Friends brought me in some dinner last night and it was refried Beans from a local Mexican place. I ate about 1/4 cup at 6PM and went to bed about 10PM with no issues at all. Woke up this morning and immediately started having stomach cramps, diarrhea and nausea. Not sure if this is dumping since it has been so many hours since my last meal. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated! Diane
Janice1968 92 Posted November 30, 2014 Gosh it doesn't sound like dumping to me, I would be more apt to think Beans were bad. Since you were fine last night. I am 8 weeks out so I am not a veteran by any means. I will be watching to see the other responses.

Stinab64 4 Posted December 2, 2014 I would think it is a bit of dumping. Refried Beans from a Mexican restaraunt are loaded with fat! It might have taken longer for them to react... but there is a lot of fat in those beans...so I'm sure that is what it is. I like the black refried Beans in the can (99% fat free) - with some Greek yogurt and cheese. YUMMY!
