tiffikitty 2 Posted January 5, 2015 That's great. I have found that different herbal teas help me when I feel like I have a headache or when I am feeling sluggish. What are your pick-me-ups?
brokenangel84 35 Posted January 6, 2015 Hot Lemon tea is my go to when I feel blah.. I also love green tea with some ginger and lemon in it. No sugar.. It give me a little pick me up. Also something I haven't done since I got big but would always down when I was smaller and down was go out horse back riding. Gosh I miss it. I can't wait to get back out there.. tiffikitty 2 Posted January 6, 2015 That sounds really fun! I have only been horse back riding a few times but I would love to go again
brokenangel84 35 Posted January 6, 2015 I loved it when I was smaller so I'm hoping I can get back into it. We have a friend with some horses who live just down the road from us so maybe when I lose a little more I can go visit and ride.
brokenangel84 35 Posted January 6, 2015 Are you eating okay? I'm having to force my self to eat then after eating I want to puke. I've been afraid to talk to anyone about it. I'm on soft foods and anything I've tried to eat us soft. But I still have to force it down.
tiffikitty 2 Posted January 6, 2015 I would just keep pushing through it and try to get in as much Protein as possible. In some sense you have to push yourself a little bit because it is part of the healing process but just remember not to push yourself too much. I remember when I got on soft foods I would take two bites of yogurt and be full and content for the whole day. I would just continue to try your best but don't make yourself miserable. brokenangel84 35 Posted January 6, 2015 I know its part of the process of eating less at each meal. I guess I just didn't get that two bites and I'd be full all day.. Do you ever get a pain in your chest if you eat or drink to fast. Its happened a few times I keep forgetting to ask if anyone else has had that? (Fibro makes me brain dead some days..) I bought a few baby foods yesterday along with yogurt.
tiffikitty 2 Posted January 6, 2015 Yes I have felt the chest pain if you eat/drink too fast. I still experience that, I'm not sure if it ever goes away. The pain is less intense now though so it definitely gets better with time.

tiffikitty 2 Posted January 7, 2015 What are you wanting to take? I'm pretty sure you can take an alkaseltzer night time. I did, however I would still recommend asking your doctor before taking anything.
brokenangel84 35 Posted January 7, 2015 I haven't taken anything yet for it other then drinking orange juice to get extra vit c in.. I was afraid to take anything.
