I always sleep on my side, so when I got home from the hospital I would roll on my side after I fell asleep. Sometimes I would wake up feeling uncomfortable (not really in pain) from sleeping like that, but it only lasted a week or so.

I actually slept on my side, my back, and in a recliner chair. All worked well.

I slept on my side straight out if surgery while in the hospital. Once home I slept whatever way was comfy. Listen to your body and don't push yourself.

I slept on my side with a pillow between my legs and behinds my back for support, now a month later I'm back on my belly : )

Oh you can also put a small pillow under your belly while your on your side if it helps!

I sleep in a recliner for the first 5 days after I came home from the hospital. Once I started sleeping in the bed again, I sleep on my side with a body pillow.

I also slept in my recliner for the first week home. Laying flat felt like it pulled my stitches inside and the recliner gave me just enough support and the rift angle to not pull anything. Now after 2 weeks I sleep in bed and wake up in every position imaginable.

I bought a new recliner a few weeks before surgery because I figured I would be spending some quality time in it.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
