ladylace 6 Posted November 28, 2014 newbie 11/10/14 .pre surgery weight: 376. height 5'10. as of 11/23/14 weight: 354 OK I have hit my puree stage couple days ago....and I have to admit Idk if I'm doing so well or should I say my pouch I think I've already stretching it idk..I feel so ashamed but like two days before puree I try eating.. other soft mushy foods and it act went down ok..... I kinda let it melt/mush not my mouth . there I was eating cream Soup but had some potatoes and clam but I chew really well. for about 3 days and today for turkey day also I actually had pot roast not pound cake squares... I make sure I chew really good... I know I probably shouldn't be eating these things..But I surprise it actually goes down or fits... experience a slight cramp...but I hope this hasn't stretch my pouch out already....I am going back to following my strict diet.for I just feel so ashamed especially for I am moving to fast ..I don't want to screw myself . I guess question is does anyone know if you can stretch your pouch in a week or not eating proper...or how long it takes. Also I'm starting to feel really hungry..! little_mrs 145 Posted December 1, 2014 I feel the same way, I am 13 days post op. They say the pouch is the size of an egg, but when i measure out my food in the 1/4 measuring cup it looks like a lot! For example for lunch I just had 1/3 cup cod and 1/4 cup mashed advocado. I feel comfortably full , but on the plate looks much larger than what would fit in a egg. So worried i will have slow weight loss or it won't work for me. I've already lost 22 lbs BUT I just started eating regular puréed foods, ie yogurt cottage cheese turkey etc.. I just want to do it right
