ferminadazavsg 10 Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) This is my first thanksgiving since being sleeved last December and for the first time in the longest, I was not dreaming about all the food I was going to consume. First, I can't physically eat more than a few ounces...so I have to choose carefully. Second I have worked so hard this past year, I really think twice before I eat. Food is no longer my main mission. It is no longer my scapegoat when I feel depressed and it is not my safety blanket or my reward. Just want to wish everyone the best holiday and give you motivation to hang in there. I am still on my weightloss journey, but it feels so good to be healthier. My goals are more about fitness and not so much about the scale. Once you get closer to goal weight, the pounds don't just slide off.."you gotta work @;$$:!" Like the Britney spears song. So I encourage all of you to exercise and you will be successful. (Plus it helps with all the loose skin and jiggles ????) ferminadazavsg 10 Posted November 29, 2014 Thanks for all the positive energy. Believe it or not, some people will want you to fail and will criticize your decision. You will lose some friends along the way and gain new ones. Just stay positive and you will succeed...even if you mess up.
