DaddyMarie 291 Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Hi, I'm Stephanie and I was sleeved May 7, 2014.. I started at 255 and today I am 188. I feel good that I have lost 67 lbs. in off my meds, I have gone from a size 18 to a size 12 (12s are getting baggy) and I have a lot more energy. However. For the last 3 months I have been loosing like 3-5 lbs a month. And it fluctuates. I don't exercise (I know your gonna tell me I have to) I cheat with chocolate a few times a month. But for the most part I have changed everything! No fast food, sodas, fried food, grease.. What gives? Edited November 27, 2014 by DaddyMarie
Healthy_life2 8,327 Posted November 27, 2014 I get the frustration. You have invested your time money and health into this. You are the only person that can put into practice what you want out of your sleeve. 67 down!

DaddyMarie 291 Posted November 27, 2014 Thanks:) the exercise thing is just a matter of making time for it. I work 630 am to 530 pm and have an hour drive home to take care of my family. By the time I am done with dinner and baths and homework in DONE! Haha!
motherof5 364 Posted November 28, 2014 Yes, you did a good job. I know work and family is a lot. I think, even if you were to exercise on the weekends would be a good start. Even if it is just a 30 minute video in the early mornings. Look at how far you have come without exercising. Imagine how much more you can lose if you add the weekend. I have never been a morning person. But in order for me to get it in, I have to wake up at 430 am. Not something I look forward to. sometimes I have to push myself, lol. So, try the weekends if you can. Later loser!
SuperDave 1,115 Posted November 28, 2014 I would suggest trying to fit exercise into your daily routine. I use a step counter and set it to alert me at 10,000 steps, my daily goal. I do walk my dog for 30 minutes in the morning, which is about 3000 steps, but the rest come from extending my normal activities. Examples, park as far away as possible at work or the store. Walk up and down every aisle in the grocery store, even if you are there for 2 items. Walk around the building while you drink a Protein shake for lunch at work. Walk to the far bathroom or break room. Every little bit adds up! You have already come this far, you know you can reach your goal. You have got this! kikicoates78 220 Posted November 29, 2014 As much as it sucks, u have to make no excuses. U have to fit 30min in just as if it were a shower. A necessity for success. Good luck to you! Oh also increase Water and Protein for a week. I read that it bumped another lady into a high loss week!
nolongerhere 100 Posted November 30, 2014 What do you do for work? If you're on your feet/walking for 11 hours straight, I'd say you are exercising... If it's a desk job, I recommend one of those desk cycles that fits under the desk... work and exercise at the same time! A person only has so many hours in a day...
